Good Etiquette to listen in today
The Love and Etiquette Foundation will host a series of cultural poetry and music events in Preston – ‘Mehfil and Mushaira’ – between January and April inspired by artists from India, Pakistan, Africa and the Middle East.
A spokesman for the foundation said that the events at the Harris Museum & Art Gallery aims to highlight freedom of expression, challenge prejudice and promote better cultural understanding, through a series of four workshops and later recitals of classical music from the East.

Hide Ad‘Mehfil and Mushaira’ begins with the first event today hosted by Vijay Rajput (vocals) and Saleel Thambe (tabla) at the Harris.
The workshop is from noon until 3pm with the recital at 5.30pm to 7pm.
Love and Etiquette designs, promotes and presents high quality visual art, workshops, commissions and exhibitions for cross cultural community engagement, to encourage positive messages and change perceptions.
